Recovery Programs
FEMA provides Public Assistance (PA) funds to help government agencies, municipal governments and certain nonprofit organizations repair damaged property and recover from losses caused by natural disasters.
Our office offers guidance and advice in the administrative and managerial areas of the Municipality on all the documentation to be filed in matters related to claims for damages due to the impact of events before the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Office of Recovery, Reconstruction and Resilience (COR3).

Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) recovery funds assist in the recovery from the disasters caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017; this includes long-term recovery, housing restoration, economic infrastructure and revitalization. For its part, the CDBG-MIT mitigation funds to strengthen the Island before the risks it faces due to its location in the Caribbean.
Our office offers guidance and advice in the administrative and managerial areas of the Municipality on all documentation to be filed with the Department of Housing under the Disaster Recovery Funds (CDBG-DR) and on any other matters related to the approved projects:
