The Guaynabo Municipal Police is the entity in charge of protecting the life and property of the citizens. Its force is made up of 249 public servants, including police officers, sergeants, Lieutenant II and Lieutenant I. Currently, the Guaynabo Municipal Police is a modern institution, with highly qualified and specialized personnel in various areas. The municipality has four precincts: the Central Precinct, the Hato Nuevo Precinct, the Torrimar Precinct and the Amelia Precinct. In addition, there is a component of Municipal Guardians who supervise the relevant municipal dependencies. Likewise, a camera system has been implemented in strategic areas of the Municipality of Guaynabo, providing service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
