Emergency Medical Program
This program consists of four (4) Emergency Medical Bases, and one (1) Command Center (Dispatch), where all calls are received and from which instructions are given to the different stations or bases. Our center is directly connected to the 9-1-1 emergency system's call reception center (CRL), so that when an emergency occurs, information and response flow more quickly.
Our emergency stations are geographically distributed within the municipal jurisdiction. They are located in:
- Hato Nuevo Neighborhood
- Amelia Neighborhood
- Torrimar
- Central (Santos Rivera Pérez Building)
The Emergency Medical Program's vision is to provide a medical emergency response system, where all components act in coordination with the purpose of offering the best treatment in the shortest possible time with the intention of reducing mortality and morbidity. To build an emergency service that sets the guidelines and serves as a model in the provision of emergency services.
