Municipal Legislature

Information

In accordance with the provisions of Act 107-2020, as amended, the Inaugural Session is held on the second Monday of the month of January of the year following each general election.

Likewise, the Municipal Legislature holds two ordinary sessions each year. The first begins on the second Monday of January and ends on June 30. The second regular session begins on the third Monday of August and ends on the Tuesday prior to the third Thursday of November of each year. Extraordinary Sessions are generally called by the Mayor.

All meetings of the Regular and Special Sessions are open to the public and are held, on the dates called, generally at 6:00 p.m., in the Assembly Hall, located on the second floor of the Annex II City Hall Building, on José Julián Acosta Street.
