Coming from a family with a legacy rooted in public service and social conscience, Edward has followed in the footsteps of his father, Hector O'Neill Garcia, who was mayor of Guaynabo for more than two decades.\n\n<strong>Education and Career Path:<\/strong>\n\nEdward completed his primary studies at San Pedro M\u00e1rtir School in Verona and Juan B. Miranda Middle School in Barrio los Frailes. He later graduated from Margarita Janer Palacios High School, where he received his fourth year diploma. Continuing with his academic education, he pursued undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic University in San Juan, Puerto Rico.\nFor 24 years, Edward served in various roles at the Puerto Rico Government Electric Power Authority, as well as at LUMA Energy, where he played a key role in rebuilding the power grid in several areas of the Metro Area after the devastating Hurricane Maria in 2017.\n\n<strong>Personal and Family Life:<\/strong>\n\nSon of H\u00e9ctor O'Neill Garc\u00eda and Margarita Rosa D\u00edaz, Edward has stood out for his dedication to his family and community.
