Hymn of Guaynabo
Guaynabo, beloved town
I don't forget you, you are my love.
Guaynabo, you are my charm,
I love you so much, from the bottom of my heart
Your people, simple and noble,
They give renown to the population.
Your valleys and your hills,
Like swallows looking for the sun.
Your men are remembered
For his deeds, for his loyalty.
I remember Baldorioty, man
Courageous and unparalleled.
Fighting for slaves
There in the courts he knew how to win.
Your name is respected
There in the fields and in the city.
Guaynabo, you are my town
Full of dreams and goodness.
By Ordinance Number 55, Series 1983-84, the official anthem of our City is adopted, under the incumbency of former Mayor Alejandro "Junior" Cruz. Its composer was Professor Rafael Velázquez Pericás.
